'59 lunch bunch hosts Paul Dorpat
The ladies of the class of '59 had an extra luncheon the month of May. Our group met May 22 at Ivar's Salmon House and we shared lunch with author, lecturer, and newspaper columnist Paul Dorpat (Seattle Now and Then). There were 8 ladies, plus Paul. We enjoyed lunch and a slide presentation, plus the showing of many pictures, brought by the group,
especially Bernice Morton, Sue Soudah Morton's mom. Most of the attendees had/have parents who lived in the area for a long time, and the photos have been handed down. Paul found several he had never seen copies of before, so we may see them in future columns. All plan on finding more for a future luncheon date.
